When I was a senior, my reading list was comprised of piles on piles of fiction. I'm hesitant to actually admit that the Twilight Series was big when I was in (GASP) high school. Reading non-fiction was not on my radar, especially when I was reading textbooks. It wasn't until I went to a photography conference and one of the speakers brought up business books that I realized that I should be taking in literature that would help me professionally. Since then I've alternated one business book with one "fun" book and it has helped me immensely. Let's face it, a lot of times senior year brings with it some uncertainty, and more than a bit of procrastination or a lack of motivation. It is easy to just coast to the finish line, but this is a great time to take in some literature that will get you fired up to achieve your goals and inspired to find your passion. In this post I am going to share the Top Five Books I think will help you on your journey!
1. The 10x Rule by Grant Cardone
Especially good around New Year, but really appropriate for any time you are goal setting. Ahem... starting college?? This book is filled with actionable steps to set your goals, and follows them up with motivation to light a fire in you. When I read it I took pages of notes and have been recommending it nonstop.
