It was a gorgeous fall day; the sun was shining, there was a cool breeze, and the scene was set for this lovely couple to tie the knot. Every detail of this intimate backyard wedding was a perfect reflection of the couple's life together. There were rustic wood elements, bright fall sunflowers, and custom signs to set off each detail. Normally, the food hardly gets served before it's gobbled up, making it hard to get photographs. At this wedding though, I HAD to photograph the food! It was too gorgeous to pass up!
Having the wedding at Allison's parent's home was perfect. Set with the backdrop of a rolling countryside and pond, the ceremony began. As the sun began to dip in the sky, the two stood before a small audience of their closest friends and family, and began their lives together. With the faint scent of campfire in the air, Allison's dad gathered everyone around to sample the bourbon the couple buried exactly one month before the day, as southern tradition dictates. It must have worked, because all the rainy weather we'd been having here in Missouri cleared off and gave these two the most amazing day! All these fun moments made this day one to remember! The amazing bonds this couple has with their family and the easy banter that brought out natural laughs made it such a pleasuse to capture these memories. You can see how much fun this wedding was to be a part of!
Thank you, thank you, thank you, Aaron and Allison for choosing me to photograph your amazing day! Best wishes and Congratulations!
