We had talked a lot prior to Arren's senior session about how we were going to incorporate his interests. His mom really wanted to make sure we captured his love for reading and his passion for music as well. We decided that we would incorporate his band uniform and these big timpani drums, so for his locations we chose to shoot at his high school in the band room! How cool is that?

I brought a bunch of lights and his mom got us access and we even were able to get his little sister to pop in for a couple shots as they were able to have a year together in band and his mom wanted to commemorate that.

Our other really fun location that pulled in his passion for reading was his own house! His family has this awesome little library in the front of the house, and tons of books there where they enjoy reading and chilling and hanging out, so we wanted to have a cool shot of him there with some books all around him. How sentimental is it that it's in their own space? It's right there in their own home, a spot that they're gonna see every day, that his mom and dad have probably seen him sit and read many times.

We did some really cool perspective plays with stacked books and shooting through them and I absolutely love how these turned out!

If you have a senior guy at home and you have not booked his senior portraits get in touch as soon as possible. I am currently booking all the way through November this year for the Class of 2023. Click this button below to get in touch now!
