Okay everybody, this is Leyton! He is actually the second senior I have shot for his family. His older sister Taylor came to me a couple of years back and they've both come all the way from Marshall for their shoots so I was so pumped to get to see their family again and catch up and hear how everyone's doing. That is really one of the best parts of having clients who stick with me for life is that I get to see their kids grow up. I get to see them graduate high school and go on to college and graduate college and get engaged, have babies, get married, etc. It's so special to get to see these kids that I'm meeting as seniors turn into adults and start making a positive impact in the world.

One thing I really loved about this shoot was that he and his mom have such a fun relationship. They were going back and forth cracking me up the whole shoot. You can just tell when a senior and their parent really enjoy spending time together and really have fun together. That's what it's all about, right? Having your parent on these shoots and making these memories because a lot of times senior year is super busy. It's hard to find time to sit down with your senior or your parents and just have some time together where you're not rushing to a game or from a game or to school, to finals, to go study, everything like that.

I always want to encourage senior's parents to be present at this shoot so that they can spend the day relaxing and enjoying the time with their senior. It really is a day of memory making as much as it is a day about capturing those senior portraits. A lot of my clients have told me that the shoot itself was one of the best parts of having their senior portraits done, and that they did get these special memories. They got to have so much fun with each other, and the memories from that day are worth as much as the final photos. When they look at these photos, they remember how much fun they had on their shoot. That is exactly why I do this. It really touches my heart when I hear clients tell me that.

Right now I am booking all the way through November for the Class of 23 so be sure to get in touch as soon as possible if you want to get in. I also have our next Bonus Shoot coming up this summer, which will be July 20. It is the Carnival Shoot.
