When a senior travels from a different state to have you to shoot their senior photos, the pressure is on! There is no stress it. That feeling of "I have got to deliver for this senior because they have come from STATES away. They've taken a PLANE to come see me for these photos." Whoo boy, let me tell ya, when you have that happen, get ready to rock the session. Aiden is a soccer player  family used to live here in Columbia, Missouri, but they ended up moving out to Texas.

I had previously shot his older sister Peyton and they wanted a similar look for Aiden. Dusty (mom) called me and she said, "Hey, I'm gonna fly Aiden in. We're gonna do senior photos with you still." I was like, THAT'S AMAZING. So we started planning out what he would need, because when you're coming from states away there's no option for "Oops, I forgot my jersey" OR "Oops, I forgot this or that." You have to have it all together. There's no redos. No oopsies are allowed on these shoots. This meant that in planning his session there was a lot of back and forth to make sure he had a full list of everything he needs for the shoot.

When he came in, we started in the studio with his soccer stuff. He played soccer for IMG and was heading into a senior year and wanted to have some photos to really capture that dedication to the sport. We started with those in the studio and did some green screen work. It was a warm summer day for his shoot so anytime that we could spend in AC was a bonus for sure.

After that we headed downtown. We captured a number of cool looks and really casual outfits for Aiden. He is not the kind of guy who's going to wear a suit and tie and that's totally fine! Like I always say be comfortable at your senior session, wear stuff you would normally wear. You don't have to go full out in a suit if that's not your style. If you are a jeans and a t-shirt guy then be a jeans and a t-shirt guy. Just keep it super simple. No text, no logos and perfect timeless photos every time.

This guy. Look at that smile. It just makes It's infectious. He has the best smile. I mean, tell me I'm wrong. And I can tell you it runs in the family; his mom, his sister and him; I've met them all they all have this gorgeous smile that you just cannot get enough of! They are so fun to be around so enjoyable, and you can't help but love them.

I am currently booking Class of 23 Senior sessions. If you have not booked your session yet, get in touch as soon as possible. Right now I'm booking seniors all the way through November of 2023, which means that sessions are going quick.

With May right around the corner Class of 22 Seniors are going to be headed out the door, and that's when people really start thinking about senior sessions. Don't wait until then, because I've already booked over half of my sessions. If you have a certain month or even a specific date that you have to have for your senior shoot you need to get in touch as soon as possible to make sure we can get that reserved for you!
