This was another one of my seniors who came all the way from Texas for his senior portraits. Clay and his mom had been following me for a long time, and she had messaged me saying, "Hey, we'd love to use you for senior pictures, is there any way you could come to Texas?!" After going back and forth, we had finally decided it might be better if they just came here.

They made the trip to Columbia, spent a weekend with friends and we did Clay's senior portrait session! We started in the studio with some sports stuff. Mindy had this vision of him being in one of his in a full tux, and also doing sports photos. I absolutely LOVED collaborating with her to make her vision come to life!

After his sport portraits we headed downtown! Clay had had another session in Texas with a photographer who did a more formal shoot so for this session, they wanted to keep it really casual. We decided to do the sports portraits and then keep him in jeans and comfortable clothes, things that he would wear regularly!

I also got to see Clay later in the year for a Cap and Gown session. His older sister goes to Mizzou and I was able to catch up with them and get some graduate portraits before he joins her at Mizzou.
